Introduction

Stripe Pty Ltd respects and upholds your rights to privacy protection under the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988. This policy describes how we manage any personal information we have about you.

Why does Stripe collect personal information?

Stripe needs to collect personal information primarily to conduct its business of providing mobile radio subscription services delivering music, news and other content through various mobile and telecoms networks and over the internet ("Services"). For example, trial and full service subscribers to our Services need to provide personal information for the purposes of setting up and maintaining a subscriptions (on both a trial and full service basis) ; providing feedback; entering competitions and surveys. In addition, we may also collect personal information from users of our website(s) such as name and email address if you email us or provide comment. Persons and organisations which do business with us may also need to provide personal information so that business can be transacted (for example where subscriptions are paid via PayPal).

What personal information about me does Stripe hold?

We may hold the following information about you:

Name, street, telephone number(s);
Email address;
name, address and contact details;
Details relating to a subscription, such as the name of service which you subscribe to and payment or transaction details;
Information obtained for credit verification purposes;
Data concerning your listen habits and the stations you have subscribed to;

Any other information you have provided to us as a result of any dealing or transaction us.

It is our policy to delete personal information if it is no longer needed by us; for example if you cease subscribing to a service through us.

What does Stripe do with my personal information?

We use personal information about you:

To assist in or in connection with providing the Services to you.
To create your subscription and for billing and account management.
To communicate information and special offers to you in relation to the Services, other services you subscribe to, and our business generally.
For our internal administrative, marketing, planning, development and research requirements.

Will you pass personal information to third parties?

We may need to disclose your personal information to certain third party suppliers (on a confidential basis) that we use in the ordinary operation of our business, such as for data processing, account payment, credit verification or otherwise, with your consent.

We may disclose data to third parties in relation to your listening habits and the services you have subscribed to but we will not include information which personally identifies you.

We will not sell, rent or trade personal information about you to or with others which identifies you personally to them.

Openness

You may request access to personal information we hold about you by writing to 'The Privacy Officer' at the address below. Where we hold information that you are entitled to access, we will endeavour to provide you with a suitable range of choices as to how you access it (eg emailing or mailing it to you).

If you believe that personal information we hold about you is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate, then you may request amendment of it. We will consider if the information requires amendment. If we do not agree that there are grounds for amendment, then we will add a note to the personal information stating that you disagree with it.

In this policy, the phrase "personal information" has the same meaning as under the Privacy Act.

Although we intend to observe this policy at all times, it is not legally binding on Stripe in any way.

From time to time we may regard it as necessary or desirable to act outside the policy. Stripe may do so, subject only to any statutory rights you have under the Privacy Act or other applicable legislation.

We may change this policy from time to time.
